Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are ‘interested’ in Freiburg talent Bruno Ogbus, who has already received an offer from AC Milan.

That’s according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Leeds and Nottingham Forest have both entered the race for the 18-year-old.

Reports earlier this month claimed that AC Milan had made a low, single-digit million bid for Ogbus, who only made his debut in the 3. Liga in Germany in November.

He’s yet to appear for Freiburg’s senior team but has been earning admirers with Leeds and Nottingham Forest now monitoring the 18-year-old defender as well.

A transfer does not appear to be on the cards as Freiburg have made it clear that Ogbus is not for sale, and they want to keep him long-term.

Of course, that’s something we’ve seen time and time again down the years with clubs regularly taking such a stance when English sides show an interest but then quickly changing from that when the money is offered.

Whether Leeds and Nottingham Forest actually make a firm move remains to be seen but he’s a name on their list that they’re keeping an eye on either way.
