Towards the end of July, we covered claims from Germany which stated Manchester City have been in contact to sign RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo this summer.
Barcelona have shown keen interest in the 26-year-old, and will have to compete with the Citizens for his signature.
Manchester City and the La Liga side have taken necessary steps to try and secure his services.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say the attacking midfielder has offers from these two clubs. There’s no mention of the details of their proposals, but there could be fresh developments in this case soon.
Leipzig won’t retain the Euro 2024 winner if they receive a good offer. He had a release clause which expired last month, and Foot Mercato say the German club have set a €60m asking price.
It’s to be noted that over the past week or so, the Catalan press have been pushing the player towards Barcelona and there’s been no concrete mention of Manchester City, but now it’s stated they’re on the scene.
