The Belgium media are getting excited ahead of the summer transfer window, with there being a very good chance several of their compatriots will be changing clubs in the next market.

Het Niuewsblad have made a graphic (see below) to show how likely they believe various players are to move. Burnley’s Steven Defour is in the ‘red’ section, meaning he’ll leave the club if given a good opportunity.

It’s the Belgian newspaper’s words which really hit home, about how they believe Defour feels at Burnley right now: ‘If the coach stays at Burnley, he wants to leave. If there is a new coach, he wants to stay. He will consider any attractive bid anyway.’

Defour isn’t going to win a Burnley battle against Sean Dyche, and the manager is unlikely to leave the club this summer.

That leaves Defour and his agents to find the Belgian midfielder a new club before the end of August. In April it was reported in Belgium that Defour ‘never signed with full enthusiasm for Burnley – his preference was for sunshine and desert.’
