In the past few weeks, reports from the Brazilian media had been claiming that clubs were struggling to sign Rodrigo Muniz from Fulham.

It was said that the Whites were demanding too much money, and there was little chance that any of the interested sides would match the requests.

Well, it now seems that Fulham have completely closed the door for that exit, according to Zero Hora.

The outlet writes that Grêmio made a new approach to get the signing done this month, and that was blocked by the Whites, who want to use him for the rest of the season.

This seems like a definitive decision from Fulham, after months of approaches from Brazilian clubs.

Muniz has 14 appearances for Marco Silva’s side this season, with one goal scored, and has been used by the manager in the past few weeks.

With the end of the transfer window approaching, it’s likely that Fulham wouldn’t have enough time to find a replacement, so it’s probably better to hold the striker for the rest of the season.
