Today, we’ve seen Aston Villa reach a deal with Barcelona for the transfer of Clement Lenglet, who’s on his way to join Unai Emery’s side.
The English club managed to sign the defender on a loan deal, in a move which could work out for all involved.
It turns out there’s another Barcelona player that Aston Villa would like to get signed, and that’s Ez Abde. The interest is being reported by Catalan newspaper Sport.
They feature a story which states that the Catalan side are not loaning the winger out this summer, despite the many Spanish clubs who want him.
Barcelona are only set to let him go on a permanent deal, and there are two clubs who are interested in that.
Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen.
The big problem is that the La Liga giants request €20m for the transfer, and neither of the interested clubs are keen on spending that much on his signing.
Barcelona are interested in the sale, as they want both to make money and to get rid of his salary, but it seems a deal would only be possible if they drop the price.
