Soon after the news that Tottenham were targeting Randal Kolo Muani to potentially replace Harry Kane, we get an update from Germany about the England international.

The news comes from Florian Plettenberg, who took to Twitter to deliver the news, and claims that Bayern Munich’s CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen ‘will meet’ Daniel Levy personally this week to discuss the future of the striker.

He adds that said meeting will likely take place on Friday, where the Bavarian boss will ‘push again for a transfer’ of the Tottenham star.

The idea from Bayern’s end is to try and ‘finalise the deal soon’, and all parties involved are ‘still optimistic’ about getting a transfer over the line.

As for Harry Kane in all of this, he is ‘waiting for an agreement’ to be struck between Tottenham and Bayern, as he’s ‘ready’ for a move to the Bundesliga club.

This planned meeting from Dreesen with Levy means the club CEO will not join up with the rest of the German giants on their trip to Asia, as he seeks to sit down with Levy and shake hands on what could be the start of a huge striker merry go round this summer.
