Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been credited with interest in signing Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot in the winter market.
On December 21st, Corriere dello Sport stated Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have registered interest in the midfielder for next summer, while Spurs could come forward to sign him in January.
A day later, Foot Mercato explained Arsenal have expressed interest in the 27-year-old and already made contact with his mother, Véronique Rabiot, who is also his agent.
Italian journalist Niccolò Ceccarini, writing in his column for TuttoMercatoWeb, now talks about the two north London clubs wanting the France international. His deal expires at the end of this season and doesn’t intend to renew the contract.
Ceccarini claims there is a feeling a club will come forward for him in the next window and this is when both Tottenham and Arsenal are tagged. He adds Antonio Conte’s side are ‘moving decisively’, while the Gunners are ‘also pressing’ to sign the former PSG man.
For Juventus, January will ‘certainly not be an easy month’ because the main problem will be to resist any offers they receive for Rabiot. The Frenchman, for his part, intends to finish the season at the Turin club and move elsewhere as a free agent next summer.
