Manchester United haven’t made a signing from Ajax so far this summer, despite links with multiple players at the Dutch club.

Erik ten Hag swapped the Amsterdam side for Old Trafford and, as had been widely expected, he’s looked at his former club for reinforcements.

Monday’s edition of De Telegraaf has updates on three players the Red Devils are reportedly interested in.

The most concrete is Lisandro Martinez. It’s explained Manchester United have offered a fixed fee of €45m plus a further €5m in bonus payments, and it’s added the ‘offer is insufficient’. The player wants the move, and it’s stated he ‘demands’ his club sit down and negotiate his exit.

However, it’s claimed Ajax are now ‘thinking about’ getting €60m for Martinez, a figure which would include bonuses. It’s understandable if the player is annoyed by the situation, given the same sources said the Dutch side wanted €50m, and that even that asking price was ambitious.

Antony is another Ajax player who has been strongly linked with Manchester United. De Telegraaf say the Eredivisie side want €80m for the Brazilian, and they haven’t yet received an offer they’d take seriously.

Ajax are keen on signing Brian Brobbey from RB Leipzig, and it’s insisted his preference is to join them over other clubs.

Manchester United have been linked and De Telegraaf say Brobbey’s stance could change if negotiations between Ajax and RB Leipzig drag on too long.
