It’s fair to say Moussa Sissoko hasn’t had the dream start he will have hoped for at Tottenham. After a good Euro 2016, the hype around Sissoko was huge and surely helped him to get his move to Spurs.

Everton had been interested in the then Newcastle United midfielder, but Mauricio Pochettino got Tottenham to snatch him away from Goodison Park.

Since then things have been so rocky that Pochettino himself has publicly questioned his player and explained that Sissoko needs to show more if he’s to be a regular starter for Tottenham.

It’s explained that ‘even’ Sissoko has considered his future with relation to the January window, but has for now decided to stay at Tottenham.

If Sissoko has really questioned his Tottenham future already, as L’Equipe explain, then it may be another example of an attitude that appears to have already annoyed Pochettino.
