Prior to Moise Kean moving to PSG, there were repeat claims in Italy that Juventus wanted to take the player back from Everton. The Turin club were hoping to sign a fourth striker, and still are, and Kean had been picked out.
Back then it was explained Juventus wanted to sign the player on a loan deal, perhaps with a purchase clause included in the contract. This wasn’t thought to be acceptable for Everton so the Serie A side moved on.
They then saw PSG swoop in and get Kean on similar terms to what they had wanted, and the 20-year-old has done very well so far for the French champions.
Juventus interest hasn’t gone away, report Calciomercato, with the move ‘still tempting’, and it’s stated they ‘tried to do everything’ to get the player back in the last window. Battle will now resume ahead of next summer, with Andrea Pirlo’s side remaining keen on signing the player.
Such a scenario can only be good for Everton when it comes to bumping up Kean’s value.
