It’s claimed Milik’s agent met the Napoli leaders on Friday, where they looked at trying to ‘create the conditions for a sale in January’.
Milik wants to go to next summer’s European championship with Poland, which is why he isn’t willing to wait until the end of the season to change clubs on a free transfer.
When discussing the potential suitors, Tottenham get a mention, along with Juventus, AS Roma and Atlético Madrid. The website states a move to either of the two Italian clubs ‘appears today as a very remote possibility’.
Milik could move abroad [outside Italy], and the track leading to ‘Mourinho’s Tottenham’ or Atlético opens again.
Should Spurs decide to make an approach for the frontman, they could take him for a low price in the winter market.
