On Friday, Italian newspaper Tuttosport featured a long interview with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas.
The 70-year-old spoke about several topics, including players, managers and clubs, regardless of which country they’re from.
With Tuttosport being Tuttosport, they obviously had a few questions about Manchester United star Paul Pogba, since they always run stories about his possible return to Juventus.
They first asked Aulas about where he sees Pogba playing next season, and he said: “At Real Madrid.”
Of course Tuttosport didn’t like that answer, so it was time to ask him why not Juventus instead: “Because, given how the return to Manchester United went, I don’t think he will return to another team where he’s already played. But it’s only my thought, as an external observer. Juventus have Rabiot.”
Then they asked him about how Rabiot has been doing in Italy so far: “Pogba is an absolute top, but Rabiot is more technical and younger than Paul. Adrien has shown only 60 percent of his potential. In the beginning he played little, in fact.”
Tuttosport also brings a story saying Manchester United are interested in Aaron Ramsey, and that could help Juventus in the negotiations to bring Pogba back to Turin.
The Frenchman hasn’t featured for Manchester United since 2019, but was at Carrington on Friday.
