Brighton & Hove Albion owned striker Florin Andone has returned to first-team training with his loanee club Galatasaray, despite fears he could miss the rest of the season.
The 26 year old picked up a knee injury whilst playing for the Turkish champions in November, and there were reports Gala were looking to cut short his loan deal so they could register new foreign players. This led to reports he would be heading back to Brighton this month.
However, Fanatik report the former Deportivo striker is making progress in training after making a speedy recovery from his injury.
Andone will definitely now stay with the Super Lig club and the player is hoping to make his return when Galatasaray meet Alanyaspor in the Turkish Cup in February.
The Romania international has made 9 appearances for Gala in all competitions this season, scoring two goals. His contract at the AMEX Stadium will expire at the end of June 2023.
