Aksam claim Fenerbahce have rejected two offers for their star striker Vedat Muriqi, which came from Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley.
It’s reported that following Harry Kane’s injury, Tottenham officials contacted Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli with regards to signing Muriqi, but their offer has been swiftly rejected by the Turkish side.
Tottenham have been linked with the Kosovo international in recent months after reports they’ve been sending scouts to get a lowdown on him.
Koc and Fenerbahce the hierarchy believe selling Muriqi midway through the season would be ‘suicidal’ as they are targeting their first league title in 5 years.
The 25 year old will be a key player for Fener in the second half of the season, after scoring 10 league goals so far.
His contract with the Istanbul club will expire at the end of June 2023.
