In 2018, Bilal Başaçıkoğlu left Feyenoord for Turkish club Kayserispor and signed a three-year deal with them.
However, the 24-year-old terminated his contract with Kayserispor last week due to ‘serious financial arrears’ and that has made him a free agent now.
According to ELF Voetbal, clubs in England are looking at the winger and the list includes Leicester City, Norwich City and Hull City.
Regarding Başaçıkoğlu’s style of play, ELF Voetbal explains he is a ‘fast winger with a lot of depth in his game’. They further add he is most likely suited in a 4-3-3 formation.
With the interest from Leicester, Norwich and Hull, the Dutch football magazine decided to get in touch with his representative, Yalcin Zöhre.
“These are beautiful clubs, all with a rich history. Therefore, I can neither confirm nor deny the interest,” Zöhre said.
