Two days ago, Sport explained Juventus’ interest in signing Juan Miranda on a permanent transfer, but Barcelona only wanted to sanction a dry loan in the ongoing window.
Saturday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo claims the left-back’s future is away from the Camp Nou as he’s aroused interest from other clubs following his performances for Spain at the Euro U19 championship.
The Turin club’s interest in once again mentioned and it’s claimed they’ve already spoken with Ernesto Valverde’s side.
Therefore, Barca have asked the Old Lady a fee of €15m plus variables and to also include a ‘repurchase option’ for €25m.
Mundo’s report explains the figures quoted by Barcelona have surprised the Italian club.
Juve don’t want to pay in excess of €5m for Miranda, which is why they have now ‘cooled’ their interest.
However, the Serie A champions’ track to sign the 19-year-old is still alive.
Another Catalan newspaper, Sport, claim Juve are ready to offer €10m plus variables for the youngster.
That said, Barcelona will only contemplate selling Miranda to Juventus if the repurchase option is included, and the latter are unwilling to accept the condition.
Should Juve fail to sign Miranda, Barcelona will look at other options for the fullback.
