Earlier today we covered claims from France’s RMC that Everton were set to make a €35m+ offer for Malcom in ‘the coming hours’.
Arsenal were also credited with interest, although the French source made clear the Gunners had only spoken to the player’s entourage and hadn’t made any contact with Barcelona over an offer, the story of much of their summer so far.
Catalan newspaper Sport then backed up the idea of an Everton offer, without referencing RMC.
Soon after that came claims from Brazil’s UOL that the player’s agent had travelled to England to speak to two of the biggest Premier League clubs. From a Brazilian perspective that wouldn’t usually include Everton, although perhaps Richarlison is doing a good PR job.
Now another major Brazilian source, Globo Esporte, references claims from Le Parisien that PSG are keen. They then state: ‘Globo Esporte has learned that Everton and Arsenal, both from the Premier League, also move to hire him. In the case of the Gunners, this is a request from the coach Unai Emery.’
Barcelona are said to want their €41m back, and Malcom himself doesn’t want to take a pay-cut to move clubs this summer.
