According to TRT Spor, Everton defender Yerry Mina wants a move to Fenerbahce as he’s eager to join the Turkish club on a temporary basis.
Yesterday it was claimed in the Turkish media Mina is Fenerbahce’s first choice and that they are in transfer talks to sign the player.
The Everton player reportedly a target for Fenerbahce after the Super Lig club recently parted ways with Roman Neustadter. Former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel also looks to be on the verge of leaving.
Transfer talks are said to be ongoing and it’s claimed Mina is close to moving to Istanbul. The player was linked with a move to the Super Lig club last summer before his move to Everton.
As covered by Tribun Dergi, TRT Spor said: “Yerry Mina is on his way to Fenerbahce, He’s the first choice for the Turkish giants.”
Mina featured just 15 times for Marco Silva’s side last season, scoring one goal. The defender suffered with injury problems resulting in a lack of games.
Despite all these claims, it seems ambitious for Fener to believe they can snatch the player away.
The Colombian is under contract at Goodison Park until June 2023.
