According to claim in the Turkish media, Badou Ndiaye is likely to return to Stoke City in the summer because Galatasaray can’t meet the demands of the Championship side.
The Senegal international is currently on loan with the Super Lig club after Stoke City’s relegation to the second tier last season.
Fanatik have reported on the latest developments with regards to the future of Ndiaye and they say Galatasaray will be unable to purchase the player on a permanent deal. Stoke City reportedly want €16m to €17m for the midfielder but the cash-strapped Istanbul club can’t raise such a figure.
However, it’s also reported Ndiaye isn’t keen to return to Stoke City if they don’t get promotion back to the Premier League, which isn’t looking likely for the Potters. Subsequently the English club may need to find another suitor if they have plans to offload him on a permanent transfer.
Galatasaray now plan to replace the 28 year old with Gent midfielder Anderson Esiti. The Istanbul club have scouted the 24 year old this season and they’ll be able to bring in the player for a fee in the region of €5m.
Newcastle United’s Mohamed Diamé is also an option for Galatasaray as a replacement for Ndiaye.
