Milliyet report Kasimpasa have rejected a €15m bid from Chelsea for their star striker Mbaye Diagne.

Wolves and Leeds United have also been linked with Diagne in recent months.

According to Milliyet, the Turkish club want €30m for the player after turning down Chelsea’s initial bid for the player.

It’s not reported if Chelsea will make another offer for the attacker but they could be looking to bring in a No.9 in this window due to their issues in this position this season.

The Senegalese striker has been impressing for Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Lig this season, scoring 20 goals in the first half of the season.

Kasimpasa are currently in the title race and Milliyet said they are not prepared to allow Diagne to leave until the end of the season.

Diagne joined Kasimpasa almost a year ago and he’s scored 32 league goals in total since he came to the club, in just 37 appearances.

A Chelsea move would certainly be something of a shock, and perhaps this is just some hype on behalf of the player.
