Fanatik report Besiktas are still in talks with Arsenal’s David Ospina, and it’s reported the Turkish club have made a significant step in negotiations with the Gunners with regards to loaning the goalkeeper.
After selling Fabri to Fulham, Besiktas are in the market for a replacement and it’s been well documented the Arsenal goalkeeper is a prime target for the club.
According to Fanatik, Besiktas have ‘shaken hands’ with Arsenal but the Istanbul club now need to convince Ospina on a move. The Colombia international is said to be demanding €4m a season from Besiktas.
It’s claimed talks with Ospina are ongoing, and Besiktas are hopeful the player will lower his demands. Fanatik report Besiktas are only willing to pay the Arsenal keeper €3m a season.
The Colombian goalkeeper is likely to leave the Premier League club following the arrival of Bernd Leno this summer, and Besiktas could offer him first team football with Fabri no longer at the club
Ospina still has two years left on his Arsenal contract.
