Fanatik report either Papiss Cisse or Stefano Okaka will be the new forward at Bursaspor next season.
The Turkish newspaper report Bursaspor have held positive talks with Cisse’s club Shandong Luneng but Watford’s Okaka also remains a target.
Last week we covered earlier claims from Turkey that Okaka is a target for the Turkish club, and Bursaspor’s manager Samet Aybaba is behind the pursuit of the Italian forward.
According to Fanatik, former Newcastle United striker Cisse is the first choice option but Bursaspor are still talking with Watford with regards to taking Okaka on loan.
However, Watford are looking to sell the player permanently and the Turkish club can only afford a loan deal for the former Italy international.
It’s claimed Okaka has said ‘yes’ to a move to Bursaspor and now the Turkish club need to convince the Premier League side.
Okaka is contracted to Watford until June 2021, but may need to move on this summer to find a club which can give him more playing time.
