Fanatik report Galatasaray are still interested in signing Jason Denayer from Manchester City, but they need the defender to convince the Premier League over a loan move.
The Belgian international spent the last season on loan at Galatasaray and became a key player when Fatih Terim took charge of the Turkish side last December.
The 63-year-old coach wants to continue with Denayer at the heart of the defence, and Galatasaray are hoping Manchester City will lease them the player.
According to Fanatik, Galatasaray are hoping Denayer’s desire to return to Istanbul may be a factor in Manchester City agreeing to the move. It’s reported the Premier League side have received other offers for the player.
Injuries limited Denayer to just 22 appearances with the Turkish champions last season, but the 22 year old impressed in the latter stages of the season.
Denayer is contracted to Manchester City until June 2020.
