Kostas Tsimikas has been a back-up for Andrew Robertson at Anfield since joining Liverpool from Olympiacos in 2020. The left-back played over 1,400 minutes from 26 games under Arne Slot this season.

Several claims in the UK have stated the Reds are looking to sign a new left-back in the summer window.

Tsimikas has a market in the Premier League if a report from Sportime is to be believed.

Liverpool are on the verge of winning the title and will then work on carrying out signings and exits. They are likely to strengthen the left-back position and if they sign a new player in that position, the 28-year-old would be made available in the market.

According to the report, the Greece international has a market in the Premier League, where some teams would like to have him in their squad. There’s no mention of the details of these clubs that are looking at the Liverpool defender.

They add ‘everything is still open’ because Liverpool haven’t yet decided to sign a left-back.

Sportime journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report at least three unnamed Premier League clubs are interested in Tsimikas. He adds it’s ‘not 100%’ that Liverpool will sell him in next window.
