Serie A side Napoli have reportedly accepted Southampton’s bid for the transfer of the Italian striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
As announced by Sky Italia (via Tutto Napoli), the club have given green light for the transfer after saying yes to a €20m sale.
Southampton have reportedly offered €17m up front plus €3m in bonuses which can be ‘easily reached’.
The report claims that Gabbiadini can already be considered a Southampton player, leading readers to understand that the personal terms should have been agreed as well.
The striker has been linked to several Premier League clubs during the season, especially Everton, who never managed to agree a transfer fee with Napoli.
Gabbiadini has five goals in 19 appearances this season, and has been struggling a bit to get enough minutes in Italy.
He’s leaving Napoli after one and a half season at the club, having arrived in 2015 from Sampdoria for €12.5m.
Claude Puel may have finally got his man.
