French youth international Lys Mousset completed his move to Bournemouth in a €7.3m deal from Ligue 2 side Le Havre.
The 20-year-old seems to be quite delighted on signing for the Premier League club, and has been speaking to French newspaper L’Equipe.
“I am really happy. The Premier League is the Championship which I dreamed about since l was a kid. I love the game, the impact, and intensity. Small teams can beat the big ones. I’m eager to discover it all.”
The French striker also revealed he had offers from other clubs, including Tottenham, but he feels Bournemouth are the right club to continue his progress.
“I think I will adapt quickly. At Bournemouth, there is a will to teach me. They said they’re going to make me work. It’s the project that appealed to me. I felt a lot of trust and respect for myself and my family.
“I didn’t have bad proposals. Torino, CSKA Moscow, Tottenham, and Sevilla but I felt that Bournemouth is a club that is going ahead and wants to progress.”
Mousset was in impressive form last season scoring 14 goals in 29 matches.
