Everton have ‘1-2 issues’ to agree with Besiktas before agreeing to loan midfielder Dele to the Turkish side.
That’s according to A Spor journalist Sercan Dikme, who says that once those details are resolved the player ‘will be invited’ to travel to Istanbul to finalise the move.
Dele has been heavily linked with a move to Turkey this week, with a season-long loan deal plus a €7m purchase clause being negotiated between the two clubs.
The potential move has been developing quickly since it first emerged, with reports in Turkey making it clear that Dele is keen on the move.
A report earlier on Friday stated he could travel to Istanbul today once final details have been agreed and Dikme picks up on that.
He says there are still ‘procedures’ that are ‘not finalised’ between Everton and Besiktas, as there are still ‘1-2 issues’ to be agreed between the two parties.
What those issues are isn’t made clear, but it is likely to do with the loan agreement given that Besiktas will be paying Dele’s wages for the rest of the season.
Once those issues are resolved, Dele will be invited to Istanbul, which tallies with reports earlier today that Besiktas were ready to send a private jet to bring him over from Everton.
Prosedürler halen tamamlanmış değil. Everton ve Beşiktaş arasında henüz uzlaşılamayan 1-2 konu olduğunu duydum. Onlar halledilirse Dele Alli İstanbul’a davet edilecek. https://t.co/O9for3XOK9
