Two days ago, Foot Mercato reported Aston Villa had joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the race to sign RC Lens’ Kevin Danso in the winter market.
Earlier this week, claims from France stated Wolves made an offer of around €20m for the centre-back.
On Thursday, L’Equipe reported super-agent Jorge Mendes is working with the Ligue 1 club to take Danso to the Premier League on loan.
Foot Mercato report Wolves, Aston Villa and Juventus are ready to welcome the 26-year-old on a loan deal in this window.
A fresh report from L’Equipe also covers Wolves, Aston Villa and Juventus interest in the defender. Aston Villa and Juventus are offering a €2.5m fee to sign him on a loan deal in this window.
L’Equipe state Lens president Joseph Oughourlian and Danso’s management are favouring Wolves as his next destination. It’s worth noting this report came out before Juventus made firm progress in the transfer race.
Over in Italy, Gianluca Di Marzio reports the Lens president said ok to Juve’s loan offer in the last few hours. He doesn’t mention Wolves, Aston Villa or any other club and adds Danso favours a move to the Turin club.
Tuttosport report Danso is ‘one step away’ from becoming Juventus’ fourth signing of this window.
Both Wolves and Stade Rennais have been parallelly working with Danso’s entourage to find an agreement, but the report states he now prefers Juve’s project.
Tuttosport state: ‘The green light is in the air, but it hasn’t yet arrived in definitive terms.’
This could arrive in the next few hours. Juve can beat Wolves to sign Danso despite his entourage and Oughourlian favouring Vítor Pereira’s side.
