The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations has started and there are many players at the tournament who will be hoping a few good matches will catch the eye of recruiters and enable a big summer transfer.

Premier League clubs will have scouts at the matches, and L’Equipe suggests Wolves and Leicester City have a specific interest.

Angers attacker Stéphane Bahoken could be taking the next step in his career and moving to England, according to the French newspaper.

The 27 year old has attracted interest from Leicester, but it’s Wolves who are going a step further. They have a meeting scheduled with Angers in Egypt to talk about the possible transfer.

Bahoken plays for Cameroon and their next match is on Tuesday against Guinea-Bissau, which is free to watch on Eurosport.

The striker has a contract with Angers until 2022, and there’s no indication of price.

Last season he scored 11 goals in 32 Ligue 1 matches.
