Having suffered his third cruciate ligament rupture of his career, Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic, currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, is doing whatever he can to come back stronger.
That’s according to Bild in Germany, who have a small article about his recovery process and what he is doing to ensure he gets the best treatment.
The newspaper report on Wednesday that the Wolves loanee is currently in Fuschl in Austria, which is about 20km from Salzburg, in order to rehab with ‘physio-guru’ Franz Leberbauer.
The 68-year-old is well known in the football industry for his success rate, and Bild recall that he was used by Erling Haaland as the Norwegian was trying to get back to fitness following an injury.
The Wolves man has therefore contracted the sports therapist to give him a helping hand, and if he returns with a little bit of Erling Haaland magic in the process, that’s something the Premier League club and their Bundesliga counterparts will be more than happy to have as well.
The 26-year-old was sent to Frankfurt until the end of the season without an option to buy, but had only managed to play five times before hurting his knee, getting one assist in the 2-2 draw against Darmstadt 98.
