Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Fabio Silva is set to have his loan spell at Anderlecht cut short, according to reports from Belgium.
Outlet HLN writes that the player indicated he ‘no longer wants to play for the club’, and his time there should end up being shorter than expected.
The report has a bit of a snipe at Fabio Silva, claiming that despite having ‘it all’ at Anderlecht, he’d shown an ‘unmotivated impression’ in training, besides ‘insufficient’ physical standards.
Following reports of an argument between the player and manager Brian Riemer, the Wolves loanee apparently said he wants to leave.
HLN reports that ‘various’ foreign clubs have been watching the situation, and PSV are the ‘biggest contender’ to sign him in January. Talks with Wolves for a new loan are said to be taking place already, although Spanish sides such as Sevilla and Real Sociedad are also interested.
With Anderlecht still have the player under contract until the end of the season, it’s even mentioned that Wolves may have to pay the Belgian club some kind of compensation to cut short the loan spell.
