Adama Traoré arrived in England when Aston Villa signed him from Barcelona in 2015.

After spending one season at Villa Park, he joined Middlesbrough in 2016 and then moved to Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2018.

At the end of last month, the winger spoke to La Sexta and admitted he wouldn’t close the door to join Real Madrid, despite his past association with the Camp Nou side.

The 23-year-old has once again flirted with a possible transfer to those clubs, during an interview with Cadena Ser’s El Larguero.

Traoré spoke about the two La Liga giants when he was asked if he would consider returning to the Spanish league.

“My intention is to be one of the best players in England and then of course I would like to return,” he said, as relayed by AS.

When further quizzed if he would return to Barcelona, Traoré explained: “I have no resentment for Barca. Why not. If Madrid or Barca comes, I would consider it.”

The Wolves attacker has a desire to return to La Liga, but only after proving his worth in the Premier League.

Traoré has four goals and six assists in 22 league appearances for Wolves this season.
