Wolverhampton Wanderers simply won’t stop looking for new talents in Portugal, so it’s no surprise that they had scouts at FC Porto’s Europa League clash against Lazio last night.

As reported by A Bola, the Molineux club were one of the many who sent their observers for the match at the Estádio do Dragão, which finished with a 2-1 win for the home side.

Just as usual, the outlet doesn’t have any details of who the scouts were watching, and even though Wolves could be literally keeping an eye on any player in the game, we always get to think of Vitinha.

The midfielder, who spent a year on loan at the Premier League side, is now doing pretty well at Porto, with the local media constantly praising his form this season.

It was recently even suggested that Wolves could go back for him soon, as despite missing out on a ‘bargain’ which was the €20m buying option they had, they could now regret that and get it done. His agent Jorge Mendes is also said to be receiving calls from England.

Vitinha was brought in at half time last night, and was praised by the local media for changing Porto’s dynamics in the game, which was crucial for their positive result.

Now in case Wolves were looking for other talents, perhaps they could be impressed by Toni Martinez, who wasn’t even expected to start in that match, and ended up scoring the two goals in the Dragons’ comeback. Another player who deserves praising is fullback João Mário, who had a good exhibition and assisted both goals.
