With a contract expiring at the end of this season, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Adama Traoré is attracting attention from Italy.
Alfredo Pedullà first came out with a report on Thursday stating that Napoli like the winger. It was also explained the Premier League side have offered him a new deal.
Earlier on Friday, Area Napoli reported the Wolves player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered his client to Juventus, AC Milan and the Naples club.
Both these reports stressed the Serie A leaders are looking at the possibility of signing the 26-year-old on a free transfer next summer. This is further echoed by Gazzetta dello Sport, who provide additional information on Napoli’s plans for the Spain international.
Julen Lopetegui’s man and Real Betis’ Luiz Henrique ‘warm up the dreams’ of Napoli fans. That’s because the Italian club’s sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, has put the duo ‘at the top of his list’ to reinforce his side’s attack next season.
Both Traoré and Henrique are viewed as young, ‘high-quality’ attackers, with a fair amount of international experience. Prior to signing either of them, Napoli must evaluate which of their players could leave the club after this team.
The Wolves attacker could get the nod as Gazzetta claim Traoré’s profile and the potential to sign him for free makes him ‘more attractive’ for Napoli.
