A couple of days ago, when the Brazilian media was speaking of Pedrinho’s situation at Shakhtar Donetsk, it was claimed that Wolverhampton Wanderers were one of the clubs who are interested in signing the player.

Now, a new story about it is published by Goal, who claims Wolves have indeed made contact to sign the winger.

It’s said manager Bruno Lage wants to have the player and the Molineux side got in touch with his entourage to know the conditions for a potential deal.

The coach previously worked with Pedrinho at Benfica, and ‘approved’ his spell there.

He also liked what the 23-year-old has been doing at Shakhtar, and believes he can be helpful in the final months of the Premier League season.

As explained by Goal, due to the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, Pedrinho and other players are free to sign on a loan until the end of the season, meaning that in case of a move to Wolves, he’d stay only until June 2022.

The main competition from the signing seems to come from Brazil, where the likes of Corinthians and São Paulo are interested in his signing as well.
