Tosin Adarabioyo is set to depart Fulham in the summer and ‘will leave for nothing’ when his contract comes to an end.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say the defender remains one of the ‘hottest names’ on AC Milan’s list of potential targets.
They explain that with Simon Kjaer potentially leaving the club when his contract expires, Milan will have to do something in their defence.
One of the ‘hottest names’ on their current list is that of Adarabioyo, who has been monitored for some time and is set to leave Fulham in the summer when his own contract expires.
According to them, Adarabioyo ‘will leave for nothing’ when his deal comes to an end and Milan are ready to scoop him up at that point.
They maintain a strict control over their finances and have a limited budget, so the prospect of getting the Fulham man on a free transfer as a replacement for Kjaer would suit them perfectly.
It’s currently him and Lilian Brassier of Brest on the list, but Brassier’s deal doesn’t expire until 2025 and that means Milan would have to pay some sort of fee if they do move for him, even if it would be a low one given his contract situation.
That could make Adarabioyo a more attractive prospect and Milan are ready to move if he is available on a free as expected.
