Gianluca Scamacca’s West Ham exit saga shouldn’t go on much longer, according to the latest reports from Italy.
CalcioMercato.it now writes that the ‘white smoke’ for the player to join Inter Milan should appear in the next 24 to 48 hours.
It’s claimed that ‘barring sensational surprises’, Scamacca will move from West Ham to the Nerazzurri, as the negotiations are ‘very advanced’ and the parties are currently discussing reaching a meeting point, a compromise.
The report claims the agreement can be found for €25m. The player already said yes to the move, so the clubs just need to find that common-ground now.
It’s said Scamacca would actually prefer to move to AS Roma, but the Giallorossi failed to reach a a deal with West Ham, as they could only offer a loan with a conditional obligatory purchase.
Inter Milan apparently moved stronger, and with the Hammers wanting a permanent transfer, that’s what they put on the table to accelerate the talks.
CalcioMercato say there’s confidence the agreement will be reached soon, and Scamacca will be returning to his home country.
