For the past few days, claims from Italy have talked about a swap deal involving Nottingham Forest’s Remo Freuler and Bologna’s Nicolás Domínguez.
The 25-year-old Argentine and Freuler are said to have found agreements with the potential destination clubs.
That’s according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who states Nottingham Forest and the Italian club are close to finding an agreement for the swap deal.
He adds the exchange will ‘not be equal’ and the sides are working on the figures of the operation.
Over at TuttoMercatoWeb, they explain ‘there is white smoke’ after all parties found an agreement for Domínguez’s transfer to Nottingham Forest.
It’s claimed the South American has received the ‘green light’ from Bologna, who will collect €15m from his sale.
TMW add Domínguez ‘says goodbye’ to Bologna and will be in Nottingham tomorrow to complete the transfer formalities and sign a contract until 2028. As a part of the deal, Freuler will move in the opposite direction.
Journalist César Luis Merlo also claims Steve Cooper’s side have a verbal agreement with Bologna to sign Domínguez.
He adds the two clubs are sorting out the final details of the deal so that Domínguez can travel to England on Wednesday to undergo a medical with Nottingham Forest.
