Over the past few days, there has been a lot of talk surrounding Gianluca Scamacca and his future at West Ham United.
It all started when World Soccer Agency announced they would be parting ways with the player in a statement, which pricked up a few ears.
They stated this was against the West Ham striker’s wishes, but they felt this needed to happen, and then the floodgates opened.
We’ve seen claims that the player wants to return to Italy, or that the Hammers aren’t satisfied with their big €36m summer investment.
This appears to have been denied in the English media, but the stories continue in Italy, with claims that Milan are now interested in the West Ham forward.
Pianeta Milan cover the latest, and claim the Serie A side ‘could seriously think about’ signing the player in the summer, but they have an obstacle to overcome first.
That’s the price West Ham are going to ask for, clearly wanting to make some money off an exit, and ‘it seems they want €50m to let him leave in the summer’.
A lot of money for a Serie A side, and it remains to be seen what happens between now and the next transfer window.
