Following news of Luizão’s deal to join West Ham United, the Brazilian media continues to bring more details about the move.
As reported by Sport Witness on Monday, the São Paulo defender has already agreed to a pre-contract with the Hammers, ready to join them in January.
Stories from Brazil now claim that West Ham managed to find a deal with the Tricolor and rush the player’s transfer.
The report says West Ham still won’t pay for the transfer, and will only let São Paulo keep 20% of a future move.
Luizão is expected to sign a contract which will run until the summer of 2026, and with this deal he’s set to be available for David Moyes ‘in the first days of January’.
Besides anticipating his arrival, the agreement is also a way for Luizão and West Ham to give São Paulo some kind of compensation, since his free exit wasn’t well taken by the club.
