As newspaper Record shares the list of clubs who sent scouts to this game, West Ham are included there, and are picked out for a special mention.
The outlet has nothing to say about any other club, but when naming the Hammers, they point out that after the club’s meeting with Sporting boss Ruben Amorim, they were now at the Estádio do Dragão to ‘take notes’.
It’s worth recalling that while they were linked to the Lions’ manager, it had been said they were interested in taking one of his players to London as well. That’s Pedro Gonçalves, who had an average performance against Porto. He has 18 goals and 16 assists this season, and we shall see if this match will convince the Hammers to go and bid for him.
