Despite the optimism being shown in the Italian media about Denis Zakaria’s potential move to West Ham United this summer, the two clubs appear to have reached a sticking point.

The midfielder is one of the players Juventus are trying to offload this summer, with a previous report claiming he had 0% chance of staying in Turin beyond the current transfer window.
West Ham appear to have targeted him to help soften the exit of Declan Rice, but no agreement has been reached just yet.
Corriere explain that the Hammers ‘must make the last effort’ in terms of their bid to reach the €19-20m requested by Juventus, and ‘not remain at €15-16m’.
