AC Milan have set their sights set on West Ham United’s Saïd Benrahma, according to SerieBNews.
The Rossoneri intend to bolster their attack in the summer, irrespective of what happens with Rafael Leão’s future. The Hammers winger is identified as the target and is viewed as a ‘tempting opportunity’ for the Serie A winners.
Benrahma’s profile pleases Milan chiefs Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara and the West Ham player’s compatriot, Ismaël Bennacer, could push for his arrival at the San Siro.
David Moyes’ side are 17th in the table, level on points with AFC Bournemouth, who are in the relegation zone. If the former were to drop out of the Premier League, the 27-year-old would be within reach for the Italian champions in the summer.
The Algeria international is valued at no less than €25-30m. If West Ham are relegated, his price would drop considerably. If not, Milan would put Alexis Saelemaekers plus €10m on the plate to sign Benrahma.
SerieBNews don’t mention West Ham and Benrahma’s stance on this potential operation.
The ex-Brentford man has scored eight goals and registered five assists from 36 matches in all competitions this season.
