Brace yourselves West Ham fans, it’s going to be a busy end to the transfer window.
Even without the sale of Dimitri Payet, West Ham get linked to more than their fair share of players, so with the extra £25m, it could be set to go a little crazy.
France’s Le10 Sport claim an exclusive on Sunday evening, explaining they’ve learned of a ‘good offer’ from West Ham for Kevin Malcuit.
The 25 year old currently plays for Saint Etienne and is a versatile player able to deploy in a number of positions including right back.
Le10 Sport say Saint Etienne weren’t expecting the ‘good offer’, but have refused it, however a move before the deadline isn’t ruled out.
The Hammers were linked with Malcruit in 2015, when he played for Chamois Niortais, so there’s ever chance the club have kept a file on the player.
It’s a random claim so doesn’t immediately strike as one which would be fabricated by Le10, but West Ham are bound to be linked to many players over the next couple of days as agents and clubs eye some of Slaven Bilic’s transfer kitty.
