The Greek media’s attention is on West Ham interest in Olympicacos star Luka Milivojevic.
The Olympiacos captain is one of the standout players in the Greek League, and his performances have caught the attention of Premier League clubs, including West Ham and Leicester City.
Slaven Bilic reportedly likes what he’s seen of Milivojevic and West Ham could follow this with a bid following doubts about Pedro Obiang’s future at the club.
Milivojevic was targeted by Fenerbahçe two years ago, and although Olympiacos managed to keep the hold of him this time it could be different with the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
West Ham boss Bilic has scouted ‘Milivo’ and he believes he’ll be a decent addition to his West Ham squad. Milivojevic was also linked with Valencia a couple of weeks ago, but their interest in the Serbian international has since gone quiet.
In November it was reported that Leicester City were ‘heavily’ interested in the player, but it’s pretty certain Claudio Ranieri has now moved on. Agreeing a deal to buy Wilfred Ndidi from Genk, Leicester picking another target would give West Ham a clear run.
Milivojeivic has played 20 games in all competitions for Olympiacos this season, scoring 4 goals. The former Anderlecht midfielder has a contract with Olympiacos until 2019.
