Despite signing Gianluca Scamacca in the summer, West Ham United appear intent on adding another striker to their team.

That man could be Terem Moffi, currently having a great season in France with Lorient, where he has scored 11 goals in 17 Ligue 1 games to date.

This comes from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, who took to Twitter to reveal the interest of West Ham, even if he doesn’t mention it in his article.

The original story is that the player has an agreement with OGC Nice since the end of December regarding a move to the south of France, but the two French teams are set to reach an agreement on the price.

That’s because Lorient want €25-30m for their star man midway through the campaign.

Meanwhile, Southampton have already had a bid refused, but that was already known, leaving the West Ham interest as the only bit of new information involving Premier League sides.

Whether the aforementioned amount is one the Hammers will come forward with remains to be seen, but if they do, it’s clear they aren’t overly happy with Scamacca and need someone to help them out in case the Italian continues to struggle in front of goal in England.
