According to a claim in the Greek media, West Ham United have made another offer to sign Olympiacos attacker Kostas Fortounis.
It’s been reported by Sdna.Gr that West Ham have now offered €17m for the Greek international after reports their initial bid was €8m.
Fortounis is also in talks with his club over a contract extension but Sdna says this new bid, and the prospect of playing in the Premier League, could change the situation for the player.
The 26-year old has been one of the best players in the Greek Super League for the past few seasons and he scored 17 goals during the last campaign.
Fortounis’ current contract with Olympiacos will expire at the end of June 2020 but there are plans to extend this for another three years.
