All of a sudden, West Ham United are now linked to KRC Genk winger Mike Tresor.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri is one of those claiming that ‘things are moving’ around the 24-year-old.
It’s said that West Ham are ‘interested’ in signing Tresor this summer and are ‘already in contact’ with his entourage.
It’s just highlighted that the Hammers first need to figure out Lucas Paquetá’s situation. Still, they’re ‘keen to make progress from next week’ and make contact with Genk.
Meanwhile, the Belgian media reports that Tresor is ruled out of the weekend’s match against Charleroi.
HBVL claims that the player is ‘experiencing too much discomfort from a quadriceps injury’ and is ruled out of the game.
There’s no information suggesting whether that could be related to a potential exit from the club.
West Ham aren’t the only Premier League side to be linked to Tresor this summer, as the likes of Fulham, Brentford, Crystal Palace and Burnley were said to be keen on him as well.
Last season, he had eight goals and 24 assists in 42 appearances for Genk, and was named as the player of the year.
