West Ham United are looking to bolster their attacking division in the winter market and FC Lorient star Terem Moffi is identified as one of their targets.

On Monday,  journalist Ignazio Genuardi stated the Hammers have seen their first bid of €20m rejected by the Ligue 1 side. He had also said the English club are expected to return with an improved offer.

Apart from West Ham, OGC Nice are also in the picture to sign the striker this month. This information is provided by Genuardi, who again took to  Twitter  to provide an update.

He explains David Moyes’ side are ready to go to around €30m including bonuses to secure the Nigeria international’s services in January, as the Hammers remain ‘hot’ on the player.

With West Ham ready to return with an improved offer, Genuardi says it will be necessary to know the French club’s plans for Moffi, especially since they are in the process of selling Dango Ouattara to AFC Bournemouth in January.

Another journalist,  Mohamed Toubache-Ter , states Moffi’s representatives are ‘doing their utmost’ to take the player to Nice, despite Lorient’s reluctance. Toubache-Ter doesn’t have any information on the Premier League side.

Moffi has scored 12 goals from 18 league matches this season.
