Despite the stories about the big transfers that could happen in the January window, it seems Manchester United are also paying attention to young talents for their academy.

This is the case of Alessandro Di Nunzio, who, according to Gazzetta Regionale, is a target for the Red Devils.

The outlet writes that the player’s growth process has been in ‘full speed’, and Manchester United have been attentive to that.

It’s said the Red Devils are ‘monitoring’ the talented midfielder, even though there are no open negotiations with AS Roma for now.

The 15-year-old currently features for the Giallorossi’s U-16 squad, and is said to ‘dominate the scene’ in midfield, becoming an ‘increasingly top-tier profile’.

Gazzetta Regionale makes it very clear that Manchester United are still to speak to Roma about the interest, so the chase sounds to be in very early stages.

With the youngster already being part of Italy’s youth ranks, it’d be no surprise that other clubs get attentive to his potential, and that’s why the Red Devils do well in anticipating his potential arrival.
